The publisher of Funcom and the developer of Shiro Games has released a fresh update for the science fiction strategy in real time Dune: Spice Wars. The most important part of this update was the multiplayer, which now allows fans to play against other players in the team confrontation of 2V2 or the Each for themselves mode with support of up to 4 people. It is also possible to fill empty places with fractions under the control of AI with preferred complexity, and together with a friend to fight against them.
In addition to adding a multiplayer, the strategy received more processed development of development with an emphasis on the interaction between fractions, new political resolutions, regions, events and many other improvements. Dune: Spice Wars is in early access to the PC. The developers plan to release a full version of the strategy in the first half of 2023. And until then they will gradually fill the game with content. According to the previously presented roadmap, the next summer update should add a new fraction and a victory condition to the game.
