Guerrilla has published a new update (version 1.54) for Horizon Zero Dawn, which you can download now for PS4 and PS5. Among other things, the new patch is supposed to prevent crashes of downward-compatible version on the PlayStation 5. Here you will find the complete patchotes (via Pushsquare).

A problem has been fixed in which some intermediate sequences do not play sound with external audio devices when the game is running on the PS5 in downward compatibility mode
FOV slider in photomodus was fixed
Multiple crashes are prevented when the game runs on the PS5 in downward compatibility mode
60 FPS patch now available: In the end of August, Guerrilla surprisingly released a PS5 patch for Horizon Zero Dawn, which makes the accested Open World adventure finally playable in 60 fps and 4k. According to the technology cracks from Digital Foundry, it even deals with a nearly perfect update.
Horizon 2: Forbidden West comes
The successor Horizon Forbidden West is meanwhile standing in the starting blocks and has gotten a release date donated during the GamesCom Opening Night live. Aloy s next adventure will be published on 18 February 2022.

In Forbidden West, Aloy attracts to the West of the United States, where she has to free the post-postalypal Open World all-around San Francisco from a new threat. Again armed with arrow and bow, the young hunter moves again in the fight against dangerous mechanical engineering.
