Horizon Forbidden West is an approaching activity role-playing game created by Guerrilla Games and also published by Sony Interactive Enjoyment. To get both the PS4, as well as the PS5 versions of Horizon Forbidden West, you have to buy Digital Deluxe, Collector’s or Regalla Editions. Dual Entitlement does not exist for the standard and special editions.

Dual Entitlement means that you with the editions mentioned both the PS4 and the PS5 version of the game. Also memory levels should be transferred from PS4 to PS5.

No later upgrade possible: That is, who first play Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 and later upgrade to the PS5 version, must buy one of the three editions mentioned above. Because a later upgrade should probably not be possible. The Standard Edition can not be increased to the Digital Deluxe Edition.

PS4 version can be played on PS5, without upgrade: Of course, the PS4 version of Horizon Forbidden West can still be played on the PS5 thanks to backward compatibility. However, this is empty with PS5 upgrades, which provide for an improved frame rate.
